Faces of Food Systems Planning

Who are the people behind food systems planning in North America? As part of an on-going series, the APA-FIG Leadership Committee is interviewing practicing planners and allied professionals engaged in some aspect of food planning or policy. We want to highlight how planners in the private, public, and non-profit sectors are actively working on food production, processing, distribution, access, consumption, and/or waste issues as part of their day-to-day jobs. We ask about on-the-job opportunities and challenges; how food systems planning and policy fit into their work load; who had the most influence on their planning and food systems planning work; advice they would give to planners wishing to engage in food systems planning work; and more.

The APA-FIG Leadership Committee is now accepting nominations for the Faces of Food Systems Planning series. If you would like to nominate someone, please fill out this form.
